A Euro Half Cylinder, or Single Cylinder, is one where the lock is only operated from one side. This cylinder has been developed to provide resistance against common cylinder attack methods.

British Kitemarked TS007:2014 1 star security and has been tested to the British Standard BS EN1303:2005.

Suitable as a replacement product on PVCu, wood and composite doors this cylinder is Secured by Design.

TS007 is a standard developed in response to concerns over cylinder attacks. The standard is characterised by a 3 star rating system, and can be achieved by combining a 1 star cylinder with a 2 star security door furniture solution.

It is recommended to use this 1 star cylinder in conjunction with a 2 star handle to achieve 3 star security for the best level of protection against cylinder manipulation attack.

For continued protection of the quality finish and appearance, we recommend routine cleaning of all our external hardware. Moving parts should also be lightly lubricated at least twice a year. This procedure is particularly essential if products are used within a 25-mile radius of coastal areas or close proximity to building sites or large industrial areas, where more frequent cleaning may be required to prevent the accumulation of corrosive contaminants.
